"Premiers au feu means in French first to fight" reads this propaganda poster from the US Marine Corps that was created during World War 1. "In English U*S*Marines" it continues. Posters like this were widely distributed during the Great War. The artwork depicts a smiling Marine in a doughboy-style helmet. The original artwork was done by artist C.B. Falls. The poster was originally published in 1917. A great gift for any Marine or war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible. The original posters were approximately 20" x 30" NOTE: This listing is just for the poster reprint and is not framed. It will come rolled in a shipping tube.
