"Lend As They Fight"

"Lend as they Fight" reads this US war bonds poster that was created during World War 1. "Buy More LIBERTY BONDS" it continues. Posters like this were widely distributed during the war, designed to raise money for the war effort through the sale of government bonds. The artwork depicts a kneeling soldier as well as a wounded soldier on the battlefield, both firing their weapons. The original artwork was done by artist Sidney H. Riesenberg. The poster was originally published in early 1918. A great gift for any war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
