"Lend the way they Fight" reads this military war bonds poster from the US government that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "Buy Bonds to your Utmost" Posters like this were widely distributed, designed to raise funds for the war efforts. The artwork depicts a US "Doughboy" solider just about to throw a grenade into a German trench. The original artwork was done by artist Edmund M. Ashe. The poster was originally published in 1918. A great gift for any war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible. The original posters were approximately 20" x 30" NOTE: This listing is just for the poster reprint and is not framed. It will come rolled in a shipping tube.
