"The Past Is Behind Us"

"The Past is Behind Us, The Future is Ahead, Let us all strive to make the future better and brighter than the past ever was" reads this Department of Labor poster from the US government that was created towards the end of World War 1. Posters like this were widely distributed after the war. The artwork depicts a soldier and a worker shaking hands. The original artwork was done by artist Gerrit A. Beneker. The poster was originally published in 1918. A great gift for any war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
