"Boy, I'm really bad at war." - Conrad von Hötzendorf. Funny WWI T-Shirt

I mean... it's true. Franz Conrad von Hötzendorf was the military commander of the Austro-Hungarian army during World War One. Actually before that, as he started really running the show back in 1906. He came up with a lot of the war plans and military doctrine for over a decade for the K.u.K. army (and much of the navy). Needless to say, he did a pretty terrible job. The Austrians suffered defeat after defeat during the war and even their few victories came at the cost of MASSIVE casualties. Conrad was infamously caught up with trying to swoon his little girlfriend (whom was already married btw), as well as playing with maps and charts to develop his war strategies, but in reality was far out-of-touch with the real conditions on the ground and at the fronts. Terrain, morale, weather, physics, etc. Eventually, Conrad was sacked in March of 1917, but the damage was done. The Austrian army was in such a dismal state that the Germans compared their alliance to them as being tethered to a corpse. History (and this shirt) has since remembered Conrad as a terrible commander. You need to be a true WW1 buff to appreciate this one!
