French 75mm Brass Casing - *INERT Relic*

Ah, the famous 75mm Model 1897 Quick-Firing canon of WW1! This gun was revolutionary when it came out with the ability to achieve up to 30 aimed rounds per minute. This gun was also used by the Americans when they joined the war effort and started landing in Europe.  
  This is a spend brass casing from one of those guns. Dated 1917, it a true relic of the Great War.  Lots of soldiers brought cases like this one home as souvenirs. This case is in "relic" condition, meaning it was used and fired, so there is some expansion and damage around the top. It is inert and free from all explosive material and filling. Definitely a fantastic piece of Great War history and would make for an awesome display or gift to any history buff!
