The infamous "Schlieffen Plan". This was Germany's entire battle plan for World War One. The plan was for Germany to attack France quickly and defeat them before Russia could even get mobilized and respond, that way they wouldn't have to take on two enemies at ones. The (perhaps fatal) problem was that the plan involved attacking France by going THROUGH Belgium, who was neutral and that neutrality was guaranteed by Britain, which lead to them entering the war. Ultimately, Germany's plan to avoid fighting two enemies at the same time actually resulted in them having to take on three world superpowers at the same time. This plan was created by Field Marshal Alfred von Schlieffen in 1905, almost ten years before the war even broke out. This shirt immortalizes is famous (and fake) declaration when the idea came to him. Great for any WW1 enthusiast or history buff!
