This World War One poster is a reprint of a c.1918 Field Artillery Barrage map for the Australian forces, issued for the Second battle of the Somme/the opening of the Hundred Days Offensive. The map includes a grid of field artillery barrage fire, protection fire, as well as instructions for the infantry advance. You can also see several significant features on the map, like the Somme River, villages like Rainecourt, as well as several named woods. Beneath the title of the map is the date of August 19th, 1918 and the words "SECRET Copy No. 140".
I have digital repaired several wrinkles and tears, as wells as some minor color/contrast issues, but everything was kept true to the original map from the State Library of New South Wales. The posters are made on thick and durable matte paper. The original dimensions of this map were approximately 14in x 14in.

Great for any WW1 or military history buff!

NOTE: The poster is unframed and will be shipped rolled into a shipping tube.
