"Follow the Flag - Enlist in the Navy"

"Follow the Flag" reads this recruitment poster from the US Navy that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "Enlist in the Navy. US Navy Recruiting Station" Posters like this were widely distributed during the great war. The artwork depicts a sailor planting an American flag on the shore with a battleship in the background. The original artwork was done by artist James Daugherty. The poster was originally published in 1917. A great gift for any sailor or war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
