"Join the Navy - The Service for Fighting Men"

"Join the Navy" reads this recruitment poster from the US Navy that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "The Service for Fighting Men". Posters like this were widely distributed during the great war. The artwork depicts a sailor riding a torpedo through the water. The original artwork was done by artist Richard Fayerweather Babcock. The poster was originally published in 1917. A great gift for any sailor or war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
