"Keep 'em Going - US Railroad Administration"
"Keep 'em Going - US Railroad Administration"
"Keep 'em Going" reads this propaganda poster from the US Railroad Administration that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "Every bad order locomotive is a Prussian soldier. Every live locomotive is an American soldier. Let us get on top of the Prussian locomotives and make American soldiers out of them." and is followed by a signature of W.G. McAdoo, who was the Director General of Railroads (as well as President Woodrow Wilson's son-in-law). Posters like this were widely distributed during the Great War. The artwork depicts a train with a US emblem on the front that is running a German soldier/officer off of the tracks. The poster was originally published in 1917. A great gift for any war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible. The original posters were approximately 20" x 30" NOTE: This listing is just for the poster reprint and is not framed. It will come rolled in a shipping tube.
