"Learn and Earn - US Ordnance Department"

"Learn and Earn" reads this Ordnance Department recruitment poster from the US Army that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "There's a trade and an education for young men in the Ordnance Department U-S-A". Posters like this were widely distributed during the war, and this one was made to increase enlistment in the Ordnance Department. The artwork depicts a mechanic in uniform working on a tank with a cutting torch. The original artist was C.B. Falls. The poster was originally published in 1919. A great piece of history. A great gift for any war history aficionado! I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
