"Join the Air Service" WWI Poster T-shirt

"Join the Air Service" reads this military recruitment poster from the US government that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "Learn - Earn". Posters like this were widely distributed during the war, and this one was made to increase enlistment in the newly formed Army Air Service. The air service was created about 30 years before the Air Force, and the biplane, blimps, and other dirigibles shown on the poster really were what machines the enlistees would be operating. The original artist is listed as "W.Z." The poster was originally published in 1917. A great piece of history. A great gift for any war history aficionado!


I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
