"Wake Up, America! Civilization Calls" WWI Poster T-shirt

"Wake Up, America!" reads this military recruitment poster from the US government that was created during World War 1. The subheading reads "Civilization calls every man woman and child!" Posters like this were widely distributed, designed to bolster support for the war efforts. It depicts Lady America sleeping in stars & stripes garb while storm clouds loom on the horizon. America remained neutral in the war until 1917; joining the Allied side three years after hostilities began. The artist was James Montgomery Flagg. The poster was originally published in 1917. A great gift for any war history aficionado!

I digitally restore the raw scans of these 100+ year old posters and make them much more suitable for printing, but I do my best to keep them as close to original as possible.
